Shipping Policy

At Bumi Flower Studio, each order is carefully prepared and packaged by hand from our Melbourne studio. Please allow time for us to prepare your order before it begins its journey to you.

Processing Times

Ready-to-ship items
Orders are generally dispatched within 1–3 business days.

Handmade & made-to-order items
As many of our botanical pieces are individually handmade, processing times may vary depending on the product. Any additional production time will be noted on the individual product page.

If your order contains both ready-to-ship and made-to-order pieces, your order may be shipped together once all items are ready.

Australian Shipping

We currently ship within Australia using tracked postal or courier services.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch are generally 2–7 business days, depending on your location and the shipping service selected.

Please note that processing time and delivery time are separate.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated according to the size and type of product:

Mini Dreamcatchers, Hat Pins, Magnets & Jewellery
Standard Shipping — $9.95
Express Shipping — $14.95

Large Dreamcatchers & Wreaths
Standard Shipping — $14.95

Keychains & Small Ornaments
Standard Shipping — $4.95

For particularly large, fragile or combined orders, additional shipping charges may apply. We will contact you before dispatch if your order requires a different shipping arrangement.

Natural & Preserved Botanical Materials

Many Bumi pieces are created using real dried, preserved and natural Australian botanical materials, including gumnuts, gum leaves, dried flowers and everlasting daisies.

Australian biosecurity regulations vary between states and territories, and some natural botanical materials may be restricted from entering certain locations.

If your order contains an item that cannot legally be shipped to your delivery address, we will contact you to discuss an alternative where possible or arrange a refund for the affected item.

Customers are also encouraged to check their state or territory's current biosecurity requirements before ordering natural botanical products.

At this stage, Bumi Flower Studio does not offer international shipping.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available by arrangement from our Pascoe Vale South, Victoria 3044 home studio.

Once your order is ready, we will contact you to arrange a suitable collection time.

As our studio is home-based and not a retail shopfront, pickup is by appointment only. Please do not arrive without a confirmed collection time.

Packaging

Every Bumi order is thoughtfully packed with care to help protect your handmade pieces during transit.

Where possible, we use recyclable or eco-conscious packaging while ensuring delicate botanical pieces are appropriately protected.

As our products contain natural materials, slight variations and small movements during transit can occur and are part of the nature of handmade botanical pieces.

Tracking

Where tracked shipping is selected or included, you will receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Please allow a short period for tracking information to become active after your shipping notification is sent.

Delivery Delays & Incorrect Addresses

Once your parcel has been handed over to the postal or courier service, delivery timeframes are outside Bumi Flower Studio's direct control.

We cannot guarantee delivery dates and are not responsible for delays caused by postal networks, couriers, weather events or other circumstances outside our control.

Please carefully check your delivery address before completing your order.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is supplied and your parcel is returned to us, additional postage costs may apply to have the order resent.

Damaged or Missing Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging so we can assess the issue.

If your tracking shows that your parcel has been lost or has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us and we will assist you with the next steps.
